Black Sand Beach is a small hidden beach that stretches many miles along the coast of Sausalito. This beach is famously known for its black sand. The sand is not very fine in texture, it is more like very small pebbles. On the beach, there are a bunch of beautiful rock formations which are great for interesting photo backdrops!
Near Black Sands Beach at Bonita Cove stands the stunning Point Bonita Lighthouse. This lighthouse is located in the Marin Headlands near Sausalito, California. It is known for being the last manually operated lighthouse on the California coast. It is also the only lighthouse in all of the United States that you can only reach by a suspended bridge.
Sausalito is easily one of my favorite towns in the Bay area! Sausalito is a gorgeous town right along the water with beautiful spots for hiking, photography, fishing, sailing, shopping, and exploring! Rich in history this city is definitely a place worth seeing!
Natural Bridges is a trail-head that leads to a natural swimming pool in a cave. The limestone cave is beautifully covered by moss, and the ice-cold water of Coyote Creek makes for a perfect spot to escape the hot dry summers.

Here in California, we do not get to experience a typical Fall Season but that doesn't mean we are lacking in the Fall activities! 2020 has been a year of surprises. It was the year the world stopped. The year people stayed home and learned to cherish the present. A lot of things happened in 2020 that effected us for the better or worse. I like to believe that among all the stress and chaos that 2020 put us through, that we grew as individuals and people.
