Black Sand Beach is a small hidden beach that stretches many miles along the coast of Sausalito. This beach is famously known for its black sand. The sand is not very fine in texture, it is more like very small pebbles. On the beach, there are a bunch of beautiful rock formations which are great for interesting photo backdrops!
Near Black Sands Beach at Bonita Cove stands the stunning Point Bonita Lighthouse. This lighthouse is located in the Marin Headlands near Sausalito, California. It is known for being the last manually operated lighthouse on the California coast. It is also the only lighthouse in all of the United States that you can only reach by a suspended bridge.
Sausalito is easily one of my favorite towns in the Bay area! Sausalito is a gorgeous town right along the water with beautiful spots for hiking, photography, fishing, sailing, shopping, and exploring! Rich in history this city is definitely a place worth seeing!
Natural Bridges is a trail-head that leads to a natural swimming pool in a cave. The limestone cave is beautifully covered by moss, and the ice-cold water of Coyote Creek makes for a perfect spot to escape the hot dry summers.

In Woodland, California you can enjoy a beautiful scenic drive looking at all the gorgeous sunflower fields in the area. If you are driving down highway 80 you can see a beautiful view of the fields. Although the view is stunning you really shouldn't take photos on any of the fields without proper permission. Remember, these fields belong to certain farms, and before you wonder about their property you need to ask for permission.
Lodi is a small town in the San Joaquin County located south of Sacramento, California. Every year around September they have their Grape Festival. The Grape Festival lasts for around 4-5 days. Lodi is famous for its locally grown and produced wine and the festival celebrates its uniqueness and contribution to the wine industry.

Here in California, we do not get to experience a typical Fall Season but that doesn't mean we are lacking in the Fall activities!
